Scope of this policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Adshouz Digital LLP (“Adshouz”, “we”, “us”) handles personal data when you visit adshouz.com, submit an enquiry, or engage us for performance marketing, SEO, affiliate or web development services.

It covers data we handle as a data fiduciary (our own website visitors and enquiries) and, separately, data we process on behalf of clients when running their advertising campaigns and analytics. Where we act on a client’s instructions, that client’s own privacy policy governs the end-user relationship.

Data we collect

Information you give us. Name, email address, phone number, company name, service interest, indicative budget and anything you write in an enquiry or contact form.

Information collected automatically. IP address, approximate location, browser and device type, referring URL, pages viewed, time on page and interaction events, gathered through cookies and similar technologies.

Information from advertising platforms. When you engage us, we receive aggregated and campaign-level data from Google Ads, Google Analytics, Meta and similar platforms connected to your accounts.

We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal data such as financial account credentials, health information or biometric data. Please do not send such information through our contact forms.

How we use your data

• To respond to enquiries, prepare audits and send proposals you have asked for.
• To deliver, measure and optimise the services set out in your engagement.
• To operate, secure and improve our website and understand how it is used.
• To send service updates and, where you have opted in, occasional marketing. You can withdraw consent at any time.
• To meet legal, tax and regulatory obligations in India.

We rely on your consent for marketing communications and non-essential cookies, and on the necessity of performing a contract or our legitimate business interests for the remainder.

Cookies and tracking

We use a small number of cookie categories:

• Essential — required for the site to function and remember your theme preference. These cannot be switched off.
• Analytics — Google Analytics 4, to understand which pages and campaigns bring qualified visitors.
• Advertising — Google Ads and Meta Pixel, to measure conversions and show relevant ads to people who have visited our site.

You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Doing so may affect parts of the site. You can also opt out of Google Analytics using the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.

Who we share data with

We do not sell personal data. We share it only with service providers who help us operate, and only to the extent needed:

• Advertising and analytics platforms — Google, Meta and similar networks, for campaign delivery and measurement.
• Infrastructure and email — our hosting provider and Resend, which delivers enquiry notifications from our contact form.
• Professional advisers — accountants and legal counsel, where necessary.
• Authorities — where disclosure is required by Indian law or valid legal process.

International transfers

Some of our providers process data on servers outside India. Where that happens, we take reasonable steps to ensure the transfer is permitted under applicable Indian law and that the recipient applies appropriate safeguards to protect your data.

How long we keep data

We keep enquiry data for up to 24 months from your last contact with us, and client engagement records for 8 years after the engagement ends to meet Indian tax and accounting requirements. Website analytics data is retained per the platform defaults, typically 14 months.

When data is no longer needed, we delete it or irreversibly anonymise it.

Your rights

Subject to the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and other applicable Indian law, you may:

• Ask what personal data we hold about you and request a copy.
• Ask us to correct data that is inaccurate, incomplete or out of date.
• Ask us to erase data we no longer have a lawful reason to keep.
• Withdraw consent for marketing or non-essential cookies at any time.
• Nominate another person to exercise these rights if you are unable to.
• Raise a grievance with us, and escalate to the Data Protection Board of India.

To exercise any of these, email contact@adshouz.com with enough detail for us to identify you. We respond within 30 days.

Security

We use HTTPS across the site, restrict access to client ad accounts on a need-to-know basis, and require staff to use unique credentials with multi-factor authentication where the platform supports it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we take these obligations seriously and review them regularly.

Children

Our website and services are directed at businesses and are not intended for children under 18. We do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Third-party links

Our site and blog may link to external websites we do not control. This policy does not apply to them, and we are not responsible for their content or privacy practices. Please read their policies before sharing information.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our services or the law change. The revision date at the top of this page always reflects the current version. Material changes will be highlighted on this page.
