D2C & E-commerce

D2C and e-commerce marketing that grows profit, not just revenue

D2C and e-commerce marketing is acquiring and retaining online customers profitably. Adshouz manages Meta, Google Shopping and Performance Max for Shopify and WooCommerce brands with weekly creative testing, server-side tracking and conversion rate work — and judges success on contribution margin and new-customer acquisition cost, not platform-reported ROAS alone.

The problem

What holds d2c & e-commerce marketing back

  • Rising CAC

Meta and Google costs climb while average order value stays flat.

  • Creative fatigue

Winning ads burn out in weeks; most brands can’t produce new ones fast enough.

  • Broken attribution

iOS changes, ad blockers and COD orders mean platforms under-report or misreport sales.

  • Over-credited PMax

Performance Max and retargeting take credit for customers who would have bought anyway.

Our playbook

How we grow d2c & e-commerce brands

  1. 01

    Margin-based targets

Break-even ROAS by product line, so budgets favour products that actually make money.

  2. 02

    Creative engine

Several new ad concepts every week — UGC-style, static, carousel and video — with AI-assisted production.

  3. 03

    Server-side tracking

Meta Conversions API and Google Enhanced Conversions to recover lost purchase data.

  4. 04

    Shopping & PMax by margin

Feed custom labels for margin and best-sellers, plus brand exclusions on PMax.

  5. 05

    CRO on PDP & checkout

Faster product pages, trust signals, COD and prepaid incentives, and A/B tests.

  6. 06

    Retention flows

WhatsApp and email flows for abandoned carts, reorders and reviews.

FAQ

D2C & E-commerce marketing FAQs

What ROAS should a D2C brand target?

It depends on your contribution margin. Break-even ROAS is 1 divided by your margin after product, shipping and payment costs — for a 40% margin that’s 2.5. Targets should sit above break-even, adjusted for repeat purchase value.

Meta or Google — where should a D2C brand spend first?

Most new D2C brands find early customers on Meta, where creative can create demand. Google Shopping and Search become important as people start searching for your brand and category.

How many new ad creatives do we need?

Active Meta accounts usually need several new creatives every week to keep performance stable. We use AI-assisted production to make that realistic.

How do you handle COD orders in tracking?

We track purchases at order placement and, where possible, send delivered or RTO status back so platforms optimise towards orders that are actually delivered.

Do you work with marketplace sellers?

Our focus is brand-owned stores on Shopify or WooCommerce, but we can align your D2C strategy with marketplace presence on Amazon or Flipkart.

Can you help us replatform to Shopify?

Yes. Our web team handles migrations, store design, payments, shipping and tracking.
